Note: Application materials for program selection must be submitted via online upload. Applicants must upload and submit their application materials through the system by 5:00 PM Taiwan Standard Time on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The system will generate a "Program Selection Application Materials Upload Confirmation Page" and send it via email for the applicant’s records.
Information for Overseas Students in Taiwan
Department of the Interior, Immigration Department:
1. Effective August 1, 110, the "Online Application System for Foreign and Expatriate Students" will be fully utilized. "Online Application System for Foreign and Overseas Students. Starting from August 1, 110, the "Online Application System for Foreign and Overseas Students" will be fully utilized to apply for the Residence Permit for Overseas Koreans, and will no longer accept applications over the counter.
2. In order to facilitate the application process for students, the Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior has produced a guidance chart and a lazybones packet to provide students with reference:
